Through my work with Look Good Feel Better, I have been introduced to many different products, some of which I like, some I love and some I could take or leave. Over the last year or so, our ladies have quite often received a Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush. Each time, they were sceptical – the colours look pretty extreme, but every time it was applied, the reaction was the same, ‘Oh wow! That’s beautiful’
As a direct result of this I decided I wanted a go too, my skin is pretty dry so I thought it could benefit from a cream blusher. I bought it in soft pink and at only £6.99 it’s really reasonably priced. I was sure I’d fall in love with it straight away.
However, in reality, I’m not entirely sure what I think. It’s a good blusher, sure, but I kind of find it a little bit boring. I don’t know quite what I expected from a blusher maybe I wanted it all singing, all dancing, but although I’ve been wearing it every day I’ve seem to have failed to notice it.
It feels lovely on the skin and gives a decent colour, which can be built up with extra layers if required, there’s a selection of 4 shades available (soft pink, soft murano, soft copper and soft candy), it’s blendable and seems to last forever and yet I’m still a bit non-plussed by it. I know this is unfair as I can’t find a single bad thing to say about it. Perhaps my expectations had built it up to be a magical product that would sort my whole life out. As it stands I do like it, I just wanted so badly to love it.
